Stove-top directions

  1. In saucepan, combine sauce mix, 1 ½ cups, (375 mL) milk and 1 tbsp (15 mL) butter or margarine.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium –high heat, whisking constantly.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook 4 minutes, whisking frequently.Makes 1 ½ cups (375 mL) sauce.
  4. Serve over ½ lb (250 g) cooked pasta. Makes 3 main dishes or 6 side dish servings.
