Welcome to FAQs page. Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions about Knorr® products. Get information about allergies, ingredients, nutrition facts and more!
- Do Knorr® products contain gluten?Click to show answer
Gluten is found in ingredients derived from wheat, rye, triticale, barley and oats. As we are continuously changing the recipes of our products in order to improve their taste and their nutritional characteristics, we do not carry a gluten-free list of Knorr® products.
In agreement with Health Canada’s Allergen Labelling Regulations, the ingredient declarations of Knorr products spell out gluten sources, sulphites and common allergens. Always read the label of a Knorr® product to make sure they do not contain the food you are trying to avoid. Even if you have bought the product many times before, you should still check the ingredients list and look for any other allergy information as the recipe might have changed since the last time you bought it.
- Can you send me some coupons or samples?Click to show answer
At this time, we are not distributing any free samples or coupons for our products. We recommend that you check homemaking, cooking and general-interest magazines, newspapers and brand websites for coupons that might be available. Periodically, there are also special offers and promotions available on our website, Facebook page, or monthly eNewsletter.
- Where is the best place to buy Knorr® products?Click to show answer
Knorr® products are available nationally to any store wishing to carry them. However, shelf space and consumer demand sometimes limit the number of items a retailer is willing to carry. We suggest you speak with local store managers and let them know you’re interested in Knorr® products.
If you would like to speak with a Unilever Canada Consumer Services representative, please call our toll-free number 1-877-77KNORR (775-6677).
- Do Knorr® products contain MSG?Click to show answer
If MSG is present in a product either directly added or as a component of another ingredient, it will be listed on the label as MSG or monosodium glutamate. Our practice is to use MSG only when we believe it is necessary for formulating the best tasting product.
- What is the best way to store my Knorr® products?Click to show answer
Always store unopened envelopes and packages in a cool, dry place away from light. If it's a liquid product, once opened it should be kept refrigerated.
- Can I eat Knorr® products past the shelf life?Click to show answer
While unopened Knorr® products are microbiologically safe to eat past their "best if used by" date, to assure the highest quality and flavour we recommend that you purchase products that you will use within six months.
After preparation, Knorr® products should be handled in the same manner as fresh food. Refrigerate in covered containers up to three days. For longer storage, place in freezer.
Each product carries a "best if used by" date. This is the date that assures the product's optimum quality and freshness.
- Do you have recipes?Click to show answer
